Recorded wartime service
She was one of 19 RNLI lifeboats involved in the 1940 Dunkirk evacuation. On 1 June she was found damaged and drifting off Margate with four naval ratings aboard, before the Margate lifeboat rescued those aboard and towed her back to the English coast.
