Recorded wartime service
The Admiralty requisitioned her on 28 December 1939 for the Rear-Admiral Minelaying Squadron and commissioned her in March 1940. National Historic Ships records her participation in operations at Dunkirk and Calais, followed by further Royal Navy service.
