Recorded wartime service
National Historic Ships records that the Royal Navy requisitioned her from 1940 to 1946 and renamed her Navigator. She took part in the Dunkirk evacuation—thought to have made four trips—then served as a patrol boat, worked with minesweepers and carried sealed orders to convoys.
